Classic Southern Eden Gardens Engagement

Melody’s mom asked me if I would be available to do a engagement shoot while in Destin this summer the day Jason asked, so I have been looking forward to this for weeks.

We met at Eden Gardens State Park, which if you’re ever in the Destin area you HAVE to go, so beautiful and small enough you wouldn’t have to spend a whole day. It was hot and I learned about something called yellow flies which do not need to make their way to Georgia but looking back at these pictures you would never guess we had to take “fan breaks”.

Melody was a senior when I was a freshman and I always remember her dancing at the football games and whenever something you could swing dance to was on. So, of course I made them dance. And we ended with some fun photos of them representing their schools. I am always fascinated by couples who root for opposing teams since my interest in football would be nonexistent if it weren’t for my husband.

Melody and Jason, thank you for involving me in this time of your lives. I love seeing how y’all interact and take care of each other and I absolutely can’t wait for your wedding day!
