July ArtSnack

This second round of ArtSnack really made my day when it arrived. Mostly because it came with a single Swedish Fish which was exactly the candy I had been craving but couldn’t find the gas station.

But in all seriousness to the supplies inside I really loved this months box. I think because the items that I really liked were things I would never buy and had no previous experience with.

So starting with least favorite and working up…

Touch Twin Brush Marker Ugh really not a fan of this marker. I was surprised because I typically do love brush pens and markers. But I don’t like the feel of this as it draws and the ink bleeds a a lot in my sketch book. Maybe on a thicker paper but I rarely leave my book.

Would I purchase again? No

Marino Watercolor Pencil by Cretacolor It’s really not that I dislike this pencil. I recently received a full set of watercolor pencils for my birthday and use those often. And I have used this pencil well and it’s great just not a standout.

Would I purchase again? Probably, it is a nice quality

Artisto DK2 Mechanical Pencil ArtSnack is really showing me how little I use pencils for sketching but should. If I rarely use pencils then I never use mechanical pencils. But I have liked this one, it’s so convenient and allows me to be extra precise.

Would I purchase again? Probably not. I really like it but I will probably use it till it’s out then throw it away.

Ironlak Pump Action Marker Since I really didn’t like the paint marker from last months I thought this would be another dud. But I LOVE this thing. Maybe because it’s my favorite color, lime green. But it’s fun and easy to work with. I have no complaints.

Would I purchase again? Totally! More of these would be so fun.

And my #ArtSnackChallenge using all the supplies.
