Summer Bucket List {Progress}

As you may or may not have read, I made a Summer Bucket List. In my first week here in Dallas I/we have made a little progress.

  • Eat Whataburger-
  • Try at least 1 new restaurant every other week with Tyler- We have picked out a few potentials for this weekend
  • Download and read 1 book a week on my Kindle- Bought a paperback book so considering editing this one
  • See Madagascar 3 and the new Ice Age
  • Cook with Mrs. Leah- made sandwiches today, does that count?
  • Get better at Frisbee
  • Take pictures at least once a week- doing good!
  • Have pictures taken with Tyler regularly
  • Convince Tyler to take me to either Hamilton Pool or Barton Springs
  • Go to a drive in Movie
  • Make prints of pictures I like instead of just leaving them on my computer
  • Keep up my running schedule
  • Back my pictures on a hard-drive and CD’s
  • Find a place to swim in Texas, don’t just sit inside
  • Have a Columbia shirt collection that competes with Mr. EJ’s
  • See a Rangers game
  • Develop a B&W Lifestyle Potfolio- started today!
  • Play golf maybe once, maybe once several times
  • Find a good camera bag, preferably one that can double on as purse
  • Go through one Chapter a week of “Black and White: From SnapShot to Great Shots” with Tyler-also started today!
  • Grill Out
  • Make a PhotoBook of my 2011 pictures and start one for 2012
The assignment for chapter 1 “From Snapshots to Great Shots,” was pretty simple. Go out and shoot in black and white. I am grateful to be dating a guy who despite waking up so early to go to work is willing to just go out and shoot with me.

*This song has been stuck in my head the past fews since I have been learning about black and white photography. The music starts at 2 minutes if you wish the skip the part with the kid.

Tyler’s favorite toy, it’s seven feet tall and can haul.
The park we were at had fountains that ran over stairs down in a pool and all of it you were free to play in. This kids was having a ball

This one is my favorite. Glad I have a boyfriend creative enough to think of shots like this and goofy enough to participate.

This way…
🙂
