Valentine Strawberry Desserts

I had great plans to try and photograph three or four new recipes that would be great for Valentine’s desserts. But time got away from me and and all I have to offer is recipes I have done in the past but if you need some inspiration or just something easy and festive these desserts cover both!

Strawberry Shortcake Cake When it comes to the Pioneer Woman I usually stick to her savory foods (have you made her sausage gravy? It’s the best and very easy) but this cake is one of my absolute favorites. It’s got a few steps so takes some planning ahead but its worth it. And it has cream cheese icing which is one of my love languages.

Strawberry  Cake Batter Cookies If you want something simple, pink, and crowd pleasing, these fit the bill. People get so excited over them and you didn’t break a sweat making them. Careful not to over bake, they get a brown tint that takes down the pretty factor. I picked up Strawberry cake mix yesterday just incase the itch to makes these strikes 🙂
