The past several weeks I have come to realize that I haven’t been challenging myself enough. So at least for the summer I am going to aim for once a month doing something different and takes me out of my comfort zone in some way. This particular shoot worked out well to be a birthday shoot my favorite assistant Caroline 🙂

Lighting was the particular challenge this time. Being in such a big place and lighting both the subjects and keeping a moody detail in the background. I love how these pictures turned out and have a bonus of I learned a lot.
